A strange Photo it looked so ready for painting I couldn't stop myself. It was complexed and took three hours. I'm so sad he's old, I thought he'd go on forever! :) :thumbup: :ok:

Thank you, a tonal sketch it the correct term. First an undercoat of blue then outline the face with W/C pencil, then add features this is the most important part they have to be perfect. Then line up a collection of Black, grey and white paint, I use 3 blacks all tone with water differently - 4 greys and neutral tone - white 4 whites. All true tones and then mix between all what a section of colours the person who said mono tone is a nut. My Passion. Sorry about the long answer. :) :thumbup:
