Michael Mackintosh Foot (born 23 July 1913) is a British politician and writer. He was leader of the Labour Party from 1980 to 1983. He was a Labour MP. Returned to parliament in 1960 at a by-election for for Ebbw Vale and Tredegar, left vacant by his friend Bevan's death. He was our MP until 1992.
Thank you, we owe every thing to them they had to fight to get even the smallest things for people. Today we are spoilt, Health service, council houses, Education, Unemployment befits, pensions all had to be fought for and got nobody wanted to give them to working class people. I love rich, poor it's talent that's the thing. End of Boring bit. Thanks for your comments find out about the men I've painted.
Yes I suppose you are right. I was just a kid myself in the 1980s & never took any notice, but now I have my own family I really appreciate NHS, Child Benefit, Council houses etc.
Thank you, I've got a little tired of painting the Beautiful people. The four of these politicians have all represented my community and I've met all a part from Aneurin Bevan all are genuine men, just trying to help people.
a friend paints at 15 to 18 feet wide by 6 to 8 feet high (!!) obviously brushes often do not serve...she cuts implements with which to draw and paint on these canvasses from large pieces of firm, yet spongy foam...dips in the paint and gets spectacular results
I was impressed. She cuts out these tools so they work like gigantic brushes.,,,and the other point of interest for such large works...they're hinged in the middle so that they can fold and fit into the doorways!
I would love to do a mural! I hope that's how to spell it, The largest I've painted is a 4 foot high X 3 foot wide Baden Powell for the Scouts. I think I'll photograph it and put it on. It’ done in Acrylic and is on a Scout Hut for their 100 years anniversary. I love people who are inventive can make their own tools or say ‘I can Do that!’
