It took about 2 1/2 hours, I find pastels are quite good for colouring large areas quickly, and for shading and lighting, they are messy though.

i've just found out/realised that the ghost in the background is the character from Willo the Wisp! I wasn't sure what it was at first, but i've just seen it on a TV program :p

Yes Willo the Wisp is great, you should watch it if you get the chance. I like all the old 70's and 80s kids shows because they are so crazy and witty

well, i've watched Chocky, and read the book. That was probably because of my mum though I'd never seen Willo the Wisp until Kenneth Williams was mentioned on a TV program

I seen most of them first on dvds or on TV programmes about the 100 greatest this or 50 greatest that etc I remember a few though from when I was younger, like Rainbow & Count Duckula. I have never heard of Chocky though I'll have to look it up.

well i used to watch scooby doo, wacky races and Rupert the bear

which is not quite the same as Willo the wisp or Chocky
