This one was done in College a long time ago but I haven't had time to paint in a long time so I thought I would add it to give my gallery some more weight!!
This was a painting with Gouchache for the bi-centenial of the United States. So it is about 32 years ago when I attended High School. I was inspired by a piece by Salvadore Dolley. I still have the original painting it was 24x36. Glad you like it I used several photos and did a transparency with tracing paper for the original lay out.
Wow Christine, Amazing, original and surprising work! Great job. It must have been a difficult one to make I guess. The transparency in it is amazing. It's really awesome. Thumbs up for you!!
I did this in high school. It was like putting a puzzle together. I studied the transparencys and used several photographs putting them together before there was help with photo shop or any photo handling programs on the computer. In fact I just learned to use a computer and I love it but have lots to learn yet.
WOW Christine, i just took that "Walk" through your gallery, its fantastic! you make it so interesting, what a wonderful idea of doing tv series and all the characters of a movie together! you are so clever!!!! EXCELLENT! i especially enjoyed your "older" portraits, that have the touch of the 1920s... You ROCK!!!! wow, you are da BOMBA!!!
I wanted to be both entertaining and interesting. I think variety is good. I need to make more full figure drawings too. My neibor likes Angelina Jolie and I must do a full figure for him so I will be posting it sometime in the future too. I am working on Edward from Twilight today hope he comes out as good as my Bella!!!!!
