Yes Lisa I have been told that I draw babies and children very well. The only thing is you can't get kids to pose too well. I have tried to do my grandkids but they keep jumping around so much that I must use their photos to draw them. Oh well another challenge. I have been reducing my production time to about an hour and a half per drawing in graphite. It takes much longer with the colored pencil about three hours with that. That is provided I use the lighter fluid to blend the background and brighten up the eyes. It also makes the pencil go further as far as economics.
Wow you know far more about drawing than I do! LOL!! And I take aaaaaages to draw anything. I do have about ten cups of tea in the process so that's probably where I'm going wrong! I think you are very good at drawing children and you've definately found your forte!
