Thank you out of all of the portriats I felt this needed to be left for a week or two and completed as the eyes looked a liittle sunken and the blue underwash went a little to wet on the forehead. Because the eyes, nose and ears were good I let it good through.

Thank you, when trying to talk youngsters into painting this would be an example. The detail of the frekles well they took less than a minute as the y are done with a sponge. A damp sponge (the sponge is real sponge) is patted onto a semmi dry mixture of paint and then I look where it's needed and carefully dab it on it's the same thing for men's beards and stuble. Easy peasy. Watercolour the easest tho do.
