WOW..
YOU KNOW YOUR SKETHES ARE ALWAYS DIFFERENT AND I COME TO KNOW JUST WITH THE THUMNAIL COZ U HAVE A GREAT TOUCH IN YOUR WORK.......ITS BEAUTIFUL AND THE HAIR IS AMAZING..........I DONT THINK I CAN MAKE THIS BEAUTIFUL SKETCH EVER IN MY LIFE....
Thanks it usually takes me three hours from start to finish this one took about six hours. I try not to finish them in one day because I get tired and then start to get sloppy I am very impatient. I probably would do well with water color painting. But since I am still working full time I have limited time to devote to the art work.
Yes you will just use graphite powder for the background and work the hair for a few hours. I work all over it. start with the darks use the powder on a paper stump to lay in the dark pattern then use your finger like finger painting keep washing your hands so you will not get too messy. BuY several erasers and use an ink eracer to pick out the highlights. Draw on Bristol smooth paper or Stonehendge.
Friend Christine, I surrender to their feet and hands that excellent work, deserves to be considered as "Portraits of the day", to Gloria he lacks to speak that perfection in the line and that good definition, the details of her clothes present a fineness and really surprising fineness. Look at friend that if your you presented yourself as candidate to the presidency of the USA, presenting this work, you had won him long to Obama.
