I'm guessing you don't listen to a lot of Brody Dalle and the Spinnerettes. Hats off to you, Brian for being able to take inspiration from the visual element alone. This is a fine work....looks like you love her.

Thank you, funny enough I have her of her but you are right I havn't heard her music, but that is no problem as I listen to music I like when painting and the inperation was the mouth and how I would paint it, I have paited her before but havn't put them on here.

Merci, je pense que c'était la bouche qui m'a dessiné à la peinture, j'a dit qu'à me le `peut moi reproduire ce mouth'. très souvent je me coince sur quoi peindre et regarder par beaucoup de photo' ; s pour l'inspiration ceci était mon inspiration. Très observateur de vous. Thank you, I think it was the mouth that drew me to the painting, I said to myself ‘can I reproduce that mouth’. Very often I get stuck on what to paint and look through many photo's for inspiration this was my inspiration. Very observant of you.

Great job, especially considering it's watercolor. I think I like the eye the best (though that mouth is pretty freakin sexy)...it's mysterious and has great movement.

Thank you, considering it's watercolour 'especially' I don't know how to take that I paint watercolour in mmany styles bright vibrant, moody and smokey. Name me a person I'll apint them even with the underdog medium I wonder if no one has every had a real go a watercolour portraiture. OK so it's difficult and hard to learn tomany people remmember school and finger poster painting. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah, that compliment probably didn't come out as clearly as I would have liked. I use watercolor a ton, being my main medium. I think you did a good job resisting the urge to overblend.
