Excellent, A great Likeness tonal work shows your shading ablity. Another month and I will call you Master. Next a portrait of light very little pant just enought to show the subject but a bit like my last Anglena J. the shine ( white clear) on the face making the light painting. Light is our friend we want to welcome him and use him to make beauty, even in an ugly face. OK up to you. No time pressure mind. School work first, a lot of thinking second then paint.
Anything with white light across the face. White will be your shading tool. How well that's the fun. Work it out ,Think look at other paintings or drawings, do a little research.
You have an endless supply of white it's the paper. Simply use the negative action of paint for what's not there. Think. Why so negative with the if it's no good I have more confindece in you than you have in your self. I'm trying to open your mind to thinking before acting. By the way I've done three suprises now Just put the first on and they all have light as their theme.
