What a Ray of sun shine your drawing is, nearly your name. Excellent skintone, I'm not fusy on colour pencil drawings on watercolour paper, but hey that's just me. Excellent laying out, eyes, lips, nose and teeth. I would have opened the eyes more. Your very talented.
Very good the watercolour (or aquarelle) pencils are marvellous, they are great dry as you have shown, but the slightest touch of damp or wet and the increase of effect is incredible. Use a small piece of old paper and draw with the W/C pencils on it then lower it into a plate of water, paint side up then watch it. Use a damp brush on an existing painting and the pencil marks can be moved or blended together. Having aquarelle pencils is like painting with a piece of wood you can do it! but look what a brush can do!
Thank you for listening, I have no motive other than wanting to advise or help. I'm glad that you are going to have a go, when I advise a bit of 'have a go' normally every body runs away. I assure you that learning new things in painting or drawing are exciting and FUN, Fun, fun. One day when your a great artist you can remember brainfree perhaps a little.
