Thank you, I've put an Albert on for you and I tried to make it special for you. After your very good drawing of Albert I it inspired to do this one.
I like the kudos of the missing or dead Rocker they seem to increase in fame and abillity. I did ithis on the watercolour paper that gives that bitty look, Knowing my luck when I run out it will be the only one they wount restock.
I'm just a machine, I turn out so many. I would like to take more time and develope my style as it is now I run between the open faced ones and the heavy ones. Also I have a weekness for wet running paint it excites me, but never works the way I want. As artist's I think were never happy with things.
i think both has a commeon thing that is light all the features are making the image more good are because of the light and waht else....i think only blending of darkness and lightness is the key......
am i correct???
i found it very cool the likness is fantastic....
OK, completely correct, Light. Also I don't fiddle with things that are not need details and little touches. Mind I'm not saying that eyes sometimes should not have detail, but not everything. The likeness is just practice and more practice it's the only thing I can't teach. I will click in your head one day and you will paint on auto pilot.
hurray i am right....
ya you are right with the detaling thing here in this portrait the light has over-powered the detaling part and so the portrait is giving a nice impression.....
cool.....
i think that day is bit far to come when i'll be on auto pilot
Wow,
this is so different from Ur other paintings... And I really like it! It's more detailed and... I don't know... less colour but at the same time so real.
It looks a little flat on the left side but that's not so important. U have really changed Ur way of working I think, well done Bampy!
Thank you, OK here we say that someone does not want to be a one trick pony or jusr keep turning out pretty paintings, I need every now and then to produce different it's teacher because it teaches to only consetrate on the most important things eyes, face, light and I have brought in a small touch of light blue into the eyes. Likeness is important but mood and feelings are more important. Don't forget I'm learning too?
850 portraits in your gallery?! Oh my God!!! Congratulations to the artist of the week who totally deserves it for his regular and, above all, great portraits!
Thank you, Done completly with a brush, with a hint of colour into the eye, It's the same old thing how do you make and Iconic photo into a piece of art and still carry my finger print or look. Merry Christmas to you on this Christmas Eve.
Ho, Ho, Ho
