Hey The Scarecrow! Looks great! You know Christine,Oz was on TNT last night! The broke tradition,and put it on before Thanksgiving! Looks really great doing the undecisive routine with his hands and arms.PERFECT!!!

Excellent drawing, wonderful in it's simplicity. I'm a great OZ fan my som played him in a school musical production so I love the film I saw it enough times mind that was 20 years ago. Time flies.

Gi Domo in checz is go home I have a limited vocabulary in my Bohemian relatives. I can say mostly food items. Bolifco is soup, charnena is duck blood soup not sure of the spelling. Boo sha grandma, oh well I have a few swear words too but I better not be saying them right here.

Although I'm Welsh the language through 1900 century bulling died out. The last welsh only speaker Died in 1980 I know few words Bread is Bara brith, thats bread made with sea weed in it, It sound horrid but is quite nice. Also we have dullk which is milk. Cwmru is Wales in Welsh Croeso is welcome we always make evertbody welcome. Like some states in the USA we had a lot of coal pits in the 1950's now theirs just one left, with our only gold mine. I live in the Valleys which is a lot of houses their what you would call cottages. Although we have lost a lot of heavy industry the Valleys are green again the Tom Jones song was a bit of a small welsh joke, but now it's correct as it is the 'green, green, grass of home'

Thanks Brian that is interesting. Every now and then I come up with an ethnic word and everyone looks at me as if I were crazy. Oh well what can I say I am a bit of a nut anyway. I have a great deal of fun with my comrads who are all pretty funny characters. We certainly laugh a lot!!!!

Excellent work that well the texture that you print him, gives him a very good effect. The eyes have good realism and that is remarkable friend Christine, I like a lot like you have treated the hat, the final finish that you have given him is very good.

Yes he is a good character and I had a ball doing him. I could be free and not worry about being exact. My focus is on children's book illustraition and I know it doesn't have to be perfect but it better be good!!!
