Thank youy, it came out a bit blue and purple, with a lot of the underwash showing. Mind I didn't want to over work it as a little more paint and the likeness would go.

Yes, I'm excellent no! not back completly to normal, but seeing better than I've seen for twenty years, also my hands are now pain free for a while, so all round I am on top of the world. I'm not painting as much, as I'm having a little rest, will get back to normal Monday. I'm just pre painting work, it's my kind of sketching.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. My sister had a problem with her retina and had to have it operated on and gained double vision in the eye so she has blocked the vision out with a black contact lense. She wears lenses so it worked for her. She didn't want the doctor to blind her eye since she was not sure if her other eye was going to mend from a cateract either.
