hehe...i love the amount of smileys you used ..lol...yeh came out pretty well ..ny design to add the american flag as well ...had to really ...she was excellent in that show and what i grew up on..i remember one christmas my mum got me loads of stuff to do with her ..i had a lunch box and a pencil case and loads of clothe hahaha..i was sooooo happy lol...
i went and done this with my new paints ..then realised you cannot varnish gouache...arggggggghhhh nooooooo...lol
heh-heh! Thanks for the tip paintergirl"no varnish in Gouache,ahhh!...I am checking out that craft site and you will probably see me pop up there eventually, thanks for telling me about it!You ever paint on wood, like pieces of plywood with acrylics...I have found that they soak into the wood too easy and my paint supplies dwindle quickly...big ouch!
cool...i think i will give this one to my brother for his house..im sure he will like it...i like the idea of acrylics on wood yes i have painted a dog before it was a commission on a plaque type wood..i find acrylics are brilliant tho because you dont need any varnish and they do not crack of fade in sunlight..i think might get my acrylics back out now hahaha...
Hey that's great!...and so true,I am sure Madonna was a huge success for you, that is by far my favorite of your splendid works...followed closely by J-Lo in her coat and hat, looks great!Need less to say as an AMerican boy i was dumbstruck by lynda Carter's beauty...I never have painted her curious enough only did an oil pastel head shot of her out of the Wonder Woman attire...hmmm you are inspiring me! As far as Madonna I apinted a commisioned acrylic portrait this summer...it was loosely based on the Like A Virgin era i will search for a photo of that so you can see!
