Excellent, likness, Orginallity, and idea are great. Writing on portraits is a No, No, just a signiture. I've painted for 50 years and only date and sign the back. Excellent that you've shaded background. Facial shading is a little out, Think light and shade should showing off the face, An excercise I do myself is to draw a face, then trace the outline to another piece of paper, doing the drawing as an outline and make another version. If this was your first drawing of a person then be proud, mines been in the bin for 50 years and will never be remembered. I agree with Jeanette you have potential and talent. Remenber you have to draw more and more to improve, also you have to make mistakes as no one is perfect. Great Job.
