You have captured that angelic beauty...it is hard to see her face knowing that she is no longer with us.Man,that was a bad summer,Aaliyah and her crew dying and 9/11 right after that.2001 was one of those times you remember exactly what you were doing and where you were at,ya know?

She was the same age as me...that video and song We Need A Resolution just knocked me out!Timbaland and her just was the perfect formula,ya know?One of my favorite pieces of art is a issue of Vibe Magazine with this beautiful oil or pastel drawing of her on the front.I think it came out right when she died because she was promoting the self-titled album then.
