A long way from Citizen Kane, Welles actually prepared some material when he appeared on the Johnny Carson show in 1983. Carson always joked about his size, so Welles wrote and recited a poem about obesity. An excerpt:
"I'll pray upon my dimpled knees,
Deliver me from Ju Ju Bees,
Lord God, if you love me,
Shut my mouth."

Je connais un homme (le cherokee) qui possède la partie d'un casino sur une Réserve indienne environ 100 miles d'ici ... et autre (Apache) qui est le joueur de basse pour une bande de rock and roll à Californie. :) :hi: :hi:

I know one man who owns part of a gambling casino near here. He is of Cherokee descent. The government legalizes gambling on certain Indian reservations. This tribe is very wealthy. I know another man who plays bass for a rock and roll band in California. He is of Apache descent. His family lives on a reservation in Nevada (where gambling is legal statewide). Therefore his tribe is very poor. Generally, conditions on Native American reservations are much less than ideal. Ther population has been assimilated to a degree. Still, census figures show growth. My friend the casino owner thinks capitalism is a beautiful thing. My friend the bass player would still like to take a few scalps. :oO: :hammer: That's a tomahawk there buddy. :D

You could do worse. An old friend of mine collected "spear points" (thousands of them) and other artifacts all along the Eastern Seaboard. The items he found in Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania and other North Eastern States were superior in design and workmanship. The Mohicans and the Iriquois were the best craftsmen and most inventive designers. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
