jaaaa, I saw the tutorial. You've really outdone yourself! I think I can use your tips. Maybe now I try to begin like how you start. It's a really good tutorial with a great portrait. The evening BEFORE I looked at your Halley, I decided to try a watercolor of the SAME photo of Halley .

THANKYOU SO MUCH.....TUTORIAL WAS JUST FOR FUN GOOD TO KNOW YOU GOT SOME HELP WITH IT, BUT YOU ARE GOOD ARTIST AND I DONT THINNNNNNNK YOU NEEDED IT.....U R SUPERB....
I like your tutorial. You work much like me but I have one step to add to you. For a better highlight to eyes and to planes of the face use wall putty. It is better than a putty eracer. It brings out the subtle high lights and won't mar the paper. Also lighter fluid will soften the washes and will not harm the paper either it dries instantly you can alter it by using the lighter fluid. On colored pencil pieces it will make the wax in the pencil melt into a paint like oil and will not move and bleed. Love the stuff. But use it from a plastic container and apply it with a hard smudge stick or brush. It is super and evaporates no mess no fuss. I use a hair spray cap it goes very far and is good with the graphite powder too. It is better than water because it is very easy on the paper will not ruin it!!!
wall putty
thats strange.......
i will try but i dont know how it will come out...i have it somwhere idn the garradge as we had some construstion few months back....ok i will try...but won't it get embossed?????and won't it have overcome the pencil stokes????
Rupin not that kind you buy it in the office max store or another office supply. It is a sticky white materal which comes in small sticks. It feels like rubber but is a little stickier. Use it like a rubber putty eracer. It works better because it is sticky. Okay I have a package of it. Scotch Adhesive Putty, removable.By 3M. Don't buy the yellow stuff it won't erace cleanly. You can continue to use it even if the graphite sticks to it. I have been using the same piece for over a year.
ops...i made lot of spelling mistkaes in it due to hurry...as i have to rush now..i have a class......hope you will still understand what i was trying to say
