Thank you, this has scanned a little darker but I look at the photo and try to think in my head what looks, would work. Then I try it out first as a very simple sketch sometimes I put colours next to each other to see if the work but mostly I just thow in to gether and expeirecnce makes it work and if I don't like it I throgh it in the bin.
i see... So basically, to get this watercolour thing going, one has to play around with colours until one has the feeling for what works. hmm, looks like a lot of work. fun work, though, I suppose
Thank you, My original painting is a lot better, lighter and less orange tone, in the skin. Although the look is OK, I would prefer my painting as it has not scanned that orange colour properly. I find that orange always tones in a vivid way, so I use it sparingly I must have used it here without thinking. I wun't get rid of it because on other and used correctly it can make a painting I should have used more brightness on the scanner to overcome it.
