She has a new album out right?I was watching a quiz show with her on it,the Big Fat Qiz show(England) Noel Feilding was a funny guy but I am under the impression she is alot to England as Lindsay Lohan is to America,am I correct?This is really cool,I like the detail in the shades,Ray Bans I think...

We have so many wild ones I have a kob keeping up . All I konw is she likes realy old men when I heard that I thought old was 50 to 60 but no it's 25 to 35 what a con. I have new paper that sucks up the paint it takes a lot to get the colours right. The tomne under the hair black is the first and second coat of black. All this complaining but it has something it blends so well absorbant and moveable. Wonderful, I'm going tomorrow to buy out the shop.

I see,and you and everyone else is right about Duffy,quite a talent.I am wasting paper right now bought this acrylic pad of 20 sheets and I am either tired on not concentrated cannot achieve one good likeness!

Have a rest, I paint now less and it's doing me good, my problem was over painting.

Thank you, If you look at Lily she is not that difficult to draw to split into large blocks of colour roughly at first then to work to refine the image. I think in portrait whether it is drawing or Painting if we think of it being a face it seems to hard think of it being colours and shapes not eyes, lips or noses, place them in position I have studied the art of cutting out and moving the eyes around and face features to teach about proportion. Use a ruler measure, practice doing circles, it is the first lesson I start with students, then study the face of your model, what makes them, look like them. Above she had beautiful eyes to tease, I hid them with the glasses. FUN, Fun, fun. Brian

It's OK I teach other young people, not about their vision or what to think, but about the boring skills and technique stuff which opens up their ability, If you what to I'm always here, if you what to know how to do something or a kind word. I'm here not a teacher but an art friend. At the moment you have wonderful imagination and your imagination out does your skills. First tip I have painted many things, whether I like them or not, be open. Never if you have a brilliant idea give it away or don’t do it, draw or paint it, then keep it even if it is naff. Later in your life you can look at it and redraw or repaint it but your original idea’s spark will live on as your skills have improved. I have listenned. great name. Brian ( brainfree)

very beautiful !! it' s hard to paint glasses , but you did it so well! sorry for my aproximative English

Thank you, I thought paint glass where but Yes I know what you mean reflection on glass or plastic. Your English is probably better than mine. Ok it a secret, so here goes, First study my painting the black hair is not the darkest the sunglasses are they also have a small amount of dark blue in them. I first draw the outline of the drawing with a pencil that is watercolour on they are soluble, I hope you understand that, the lines wash away when wet. Then I use masking tape, not fluid to blank out the shine area then two layers of the darkest blue I have, then black, then a final layer of acrylic black. Wait for it to dry, peel of masking tape and edge with brilliant white. Shine on eyes I use a little Gum Arabic on the white areas for the white there to look different. Many, Many skills, techniques and the result of years of practice. Have a go if you want I can translate into French. Brian

Thank you, I think you mean pose OK thats my style I like big and original. and a little secret is it's easier I painted years ago on what we call A3 the pictures here are A4 21 cms X 29 cms now but I find I paint better larger and they make more impact. Brian.

Thank you, I don't mind if you coment on them all but their are so many. Even I have forgotten some of them I store them under a bed and it's nearly full. One day I will sell them all, along with the 1000 drawings and pastel drawings. But for now their all my babies and I would not sell any of them.
