I went to my new art class last night, I was the new boy, I arived with a small travel watercolour set and when I went into the room, they were all there with masses of equipment, it made me look a bit naff. I also took a porfolio with about 20 portraits not even my best work, I don't know what I expected perhaps in my mind I was expecting a job interview they were wonderful. Very fiendly and I was not the oldest or the youngest, so I was happy. I've agreed to enter a term competition of painting a flower? they looked a bit taken back when I asked how many they wanted and how long I have to paint it, three months they said yes three months I nearly fainted. But they were great I will go back next week, as I enjoyed the banter and seeing the differnt styles.
