I did this years ago. In fact, my early drawings were always black and white.

That is great you have managed to keep hold of your early stuff, most of mone is long gone, but my mom still has my Sesame Street doodles from the age of 5.they are all in red marker and resemble nothing now but at the time I thought I was Leonardo! :D :D :D

nice hearing about your childhood doodles :D :D :D! Even the greatest painters in history started really small. Sometimes I think of how much I enjoyed drawing because when you´re little u don´t think so much and you´re not overly critical about your pictures - u just do it for fun :ok: Now I try to be as good/perfect as I can which is why I mostly need days for finishing a portrait  (oops i write so much  )

Yes,your right,it takes days when you are dedicated, very easily can you draw a sketch and say See,but when you put a little of yourself in there,it is worthy of putting a whole lifetime into one drawing/painting.I am painting on a pair of shoes today and it has taken me longer than I was counting on,but since several people will see it I thought I would give 101% attention to them, haha!I love the ghoulnextdoor website just visited that. :) :ok:

Sure of course! They are a pair of Chuck taylor Converse, and a friend of mone here KiraCall painted hers the other night in the same manner, canvas shoes are great for acrylics paints.I am painting the right one now,and it is Heath Ledgers Joker. :ok:

no really! I always thought the scariest moments in that genre were when someone who had looked normal a moment ago, suddenly turned bad on you!! :D :D especially if it was a babe like this one :oO: :oO: so you could have been thinking of kissing here and then !! YIKES! :D :D :D :D :blowkiss: :blowkiss:

 buckleysoreal - 06/11/09 à 15:34 répondre
It always works with 'innocent' lil girls, it still does in horror movies. It seems to be more disturbing.. I really don't like these totally silent moments right before something shocking and creepy is going to happen..

 jpoulos2561 - 06/11/09 à 15:59 répondre
:D :D I know! They're 'working you' -- like those e-mails that proliferate around Halloween ... study the peaceful scenic footage, hear the lilting, serene muscic ... then KABOOM! extreme close-up of Linda Blair from The Exorcist + big scream + music crescendo + heart palpitations!! :oO: :oO: :hammer: :hammer:

 buckleysoreal - 06/11/09 à 17:09 répondre
:D  Yeah, I know those 'nice' lil clips from the internet.. There was actually a German tv commercial for coffee which got banned. It scared kids so much -- young AND old! You can still watch 'em on youtube. Here's one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=48XQntmHDSw&feature=related
