La couverture du CD War de U2... Personnellement, je n'aime pas ce groupe mais dès que j'ai vu l'image, j'ai voulu la dessiner Fait au feutre et au crayon.
Excellent, Great choice I started painting LP covers or CD now I also paint Film posters. Excellent chioce of size, nice light and dark, this would be the only eseption to the writing on portrait rule. I like your vesion more than the other photo version. I'm not a fan either, but they do have good CD covers.
Thanks a lot Brian.. !! I really like your comment, because it makes me see really what's good about my drawing. I tried this CD cover because I thought that it would do a good drawing, and because I would reach another kind of public, because if I'm always doing drawings of stars that I like a lot, I will surely stay at the same level.. I love your comments, but I think of everone as viewers, they see what you want them to see. As far as your favourites I have learnt to see something in the work and not just people I love that then enables me to paint anyone and everone I love challenges and on this site I have painted many people that I have not even known their gender and made a completed pratt of myself by calling them say a girl when they were a boy. But the painting taught me a great amount.
What you say is true, and I like to have some challenges too, because it makes some diversity in the gallery. So if you have an idea for me one day, I will be happy to read it
Just light and dark and anybody and everything. Have Fun mainly. An interseting little thing is this: My favourite painter is Frenchman Edgar Degas. he said 'art is not what you see, but what you make others see'! and to me art is about originality, technique and likeness and this is attained by the hard work of practice, perseverance and patience. Keep that talent working and remember to have little thinking times when you rest from drawing.
