I'm sure that he likes it! Great idea to have printed it on canvas. I just read on the newspaper that it costs about 140-200 euros to print some picture on canvas here (150 x 200 cm)

Billboards (on a thin vinyl) and other outdoor signage (often on canvas) are a frequent production method for some of my work. Sooooooo...I have a few suppliers who can print beautiful stuff up to 12' tall by however long the roll of stock is. I get a preferred customer rate of "materials only" - say $100 for a 30 x 40 If it's for resale, I pay normal prices - about twice that much.
