I love Shirley her movies were all very moving and she is a great lady now too. This one was taken from a really good photo with a lot of contrast. I think the outcome of the work depends on getting a really good photo and studying it really hard to see the many values. Try doing some of the old black and white photos from the early 30s and 40s. The photography from back then is super for lighting and highlights too!!!
