It is a classic,that's for sure.For me,the prequels did'nt have the shock that the first one had.

I think Jodie Foster not returning made them uneven,as well as Hannibal being see and heard too much,much like what happened with Batman in that series...when Tim Burton did those films Batman was quiet but by the time of Batman andRobin you had a Batman who was arguing with Robin...I am getting off subject,haha!But yeah Hannibal became too human.
