Thank you shahin, I'm trying a differnt technique with watercolour pencils and drawing a layout first instead of drawing with paint, for me I'm a bit bored the old style calls.
Thank you, colour is my thing that and light and dark, I love shadow and doing the impossible. I have one, which is half done, about 2 weeks old, it is going very well I will go back to it I think.
Thank you, she is beautiful and has been in a soap for 10 years and I have not done her very blue eyes justice I will do one of my half painting to show her wonderful eye colour but I'm busy painting about 10 and none finished.
Oh good!Yes they are a tight unit and I am shocked no portraits have been done of them already.I have always wanted to see them live but they never make it out to the midwest.Maybe someday!
The problem with all the British Soaps is they tend to more like the ordinary lives of us the comom people. Although we are going a bit over the top now Murders, and crime in them Coronation St is one of the best it has ordinary people in it and very good acting one of the cast has been in the soap for 50 years. It would be very boring to the american viewer I have many Soap drawings perhaps I will filter a few onto here.
Oh great and I hope al is well with your father,am working up another LadyGaGa for my girlfriend,it is slow going though because I cant choose an image.
Thank you trying out not going for detail trying to feel more. Here I have half drawn with watercolour pencils and then ghoosted in with water blending and tauching up. Not cray about it but it's a new skill to learn and will take a few weeks. At the moment I've lost a bit of likeness and sharpness.
I have posted a new piece it is a bit different it was done with oil pastels and some colored pencil it is not up yet Brian but I bet you may find it interesting check later.
