Dearest friend you have inspired me to do a watercolor piece. It has been thirty years since I painted in watercolor and never a portrait. So it should be up here soon Thanks for doing the IlDivo guys for us. We all appreciate your beautiful work You are an excellent artist and an even better teacher just open up on me I need it Brian rusty as I am.

Thank you, at the moment and with three of the boys my mind was not on the art, but with finishing. I will fefine the finish with the other three when my mind is not so full, along the lines of this piece. I enjoyed this one, it took me right away from all my problems.

Hi Brian this is great work ..with the blue Background and the blue shadow in the face and the little yellow all of that colours give high Sense.

Thank you for you kind words, I have a problem at home at the moment my father is reaching the end of his life. Although we are not close it has distracted me on all of the other Il Divo's this is the only one I was able to find a bit of magic for. The colour was going to be for all of them sky and sunset. This one I think it worked the others I rushed to finished. Mind I have a problem sometimes as my father improves or get a little worst. Never mind that's life he is in a wonderful hospital, receiving the best treatment. Brian.

hi brain how are you??? i haven't heard fropm you for a long time where have you been? no portraits also... i have made some sketches and 1 water color and poster color painting which i'll post later today.....what are you doing these days??? and hows your health???

Well my friend, my father has been very ill and has just on Tuesday died after a six month illness, he has had Cancer for about 5 years and seemed to have it beaten but suffered a relapse and has got progressively worst. I am very busy with the legal side of his estate and funeral, unlike other cultures, it takes about ten days before a religious Service, burial and wake. He was a very popular man and my family is quite well known, so there will be a few people to look after the burial. Don't feel sad for me as my father, he had a rich and wonderful life not always easy, but very colourful. I'm very good health wise and I have the support of my wife daughter and two 30 year old sons who are my rock and I'm very proud of them. I'm glad to known your working hard and also drawing and painting.

Drawing and painting are taking a back seat at the moment but I was in the middle of painting my friends at the Art club I go to, but even that will have to wait until; after my father's funeral

i so sorry for him..you take care..good to know you are with some good peole who love you... take your time and come back and paint.... we all miss you

No need to feel sorry he's were he wanted to be now. I will come back soon the work on the web may have dried up but the ideas still come and I am keeping a record of them. Thank you my friend.

Thank you, I have a problem doing say four paintings and wanting to keep the same look like with a group the first like this one is always the best but the other after I become bored are a bit formula and I hate that so I've decided to do all music groups indiviualy from now on hoping for more orginallity. Just me being paraniod.

Thank you, I have had a great deal of worry over the last month and finally my father has died. I will not be doing a lot of painting (perhaps a little) until the end of this week. It has effected my concentration far more than I thought I have started a lot of work but finished very little I thought it would be a change of mood for me but ?

Thank you, I agree some are a little better, I wish I could see the reason. I sometimes thought it was because I drew them slowly and painted them quickly. but this one I drew slowly but painted it slowly, then I thought it was to draw quickly and paint quickly But I've tried everything but to no avail some are better than others and some disappoint me. I think clean is the best description yet. I think it's because when I started I enjoy bashing them out going fast, as it’s in my nature I like the spontaneity of speed sometimes it does not like me. But I’m glad you like this one.
