I understand completely that you not spend time on stars during the week. I have not had much time lately either. Just drawing 1 per week instead of 5 per week for the past 2+ weeks. Finishing Al Pacino today, post later or tomorrow. Will mail it to you. Muaaaahhh!

Thanks!!! No you are not wrong. It's a combo of things. 1) I've switched to Bristol smooth since my Chevy Chase. Won't use anything else now. 2) Prior to Elvis, they are not in the order I drew them, but are now. 3) I'm growing in my experience. I've sketched all my life, but have never put more than 30 mins into a drawing until 8 months ago. 4) I've determined to limit face size to 6" to 7" from bottom of chin to top of hair line. It's the perfect compromise between time to draw, and details allowed? HA...hope that explains it?

Crazy good! He had a drummer, a girl playing violin and her boyfriend on the keyboards (both singing backup) and a base player. He used to play alone, but now has a great band when he needs them!

Wonderful, not an obvious likeness to start, but after viewing in the larger format excellent likeness, not the Bale look behind the Batman and other roles, but truly excellent and of course your great skill and technical expertise. PAINT awaits after some pastel work first onwards and upwards.
Pleas please don't get bogged down into just being a wonderful drawer go the step further to paint if drawing is incredible then painting is Heaven I could bullshit you about it would be easy but nothing is worth it if we don't have to work at it. Hi Brian...I hear you man! I have some colored pencils un-opened in my drawer, ha! I used to water-color and oil paint landscapes when I was a young teen. Never went back. I was pretty good too?
