Yes I do work in colored pencil usually Prisma Colored pencil and I use soft pastels for the skin tones I also use some watercolor to boost the porduction time so it is a mixed media type of hog pog. I am not very diciplined when it comes to time. I still work full time at a difficult job physically that is and I only have about two hours to try to get a portrait done. It is so much fun and I try to keep it very spontaneous. I hate to do details and it shows in my clothing and backgrounds. But this is all I can do now still working at a factory job.
Are you in Washington?I took a workshop with Anne Kullberg and I loved her and her help is really coming in handy with my technique.
Yes...I'm in WA. I met Ann Kulberg a number of years ago ...we were in the same colored pencil society group. Never took any workshops from her though.Do you use the "Pan Pastels"...I've played with those and they are wonderful.
No I haven't used the pan pastels but I think I am going to try to buy some. I like using graphite powder for drawing and shading so I bet that would be nice to work with too. Thanks for the tip and keep creating I will be watching for more of your work on this site. I was very fortunate to get to know Anne.
