Excellent painting, the framing hmmm. The promise of light on the face is let down a light by not using it in the clothes and background. Saying that the use of tone and shading in the face is excellent. True black is difficult I cheat and use acrylic black over watercolour black also I use paynes grey below black hair it gives shine one of the hidden wonders paynes grey great for shadow or shading. :clap: :clap: :clap: :grin: :8) :grin:
