Yes very much so,the KARLOFF site is so well done your art is featured next to some notable names such as a personal favorite of mine Basil Gogos,be watching your mail Tom I am sending something horror inspired I hope you like it
Hahaha What I like abou this Tom is the fact you captured the broad range of characters that Boris played,I finally got a dvd copy of Old Dark House and have watched and rewatched so many times...any new Boris drawings soon?
Hi Chris, I probably will get around to Boris again, that's my problem, I usually get "stuck" with one person for a while. For a time there it was Nicholson. But there are so many great faces out there, and so little time!!!!
Oh so nice to have her pose with the wonderful work you do!!! It must be a real thrill to have contact with the family. I did portraits of Connie Marshall and have made friends with her daughters and sent them the original works too. So nice to have input from people close to their beloved relatives!!!!!!!
Hi Christine, Isn't great when you find that the stars or their families are really nice folks, making up for the one or two disappointments along the way.
By the way ,I always judge a gallery from it's thumbnail prints. If I don't recognise the stars from that ,then I feel the artist has failed. Just a long-winded way of saying how good your gallery is. Dom, George C., River, Bette and of course Michael , all just jump out at you and demand that you take a closer look!!!! Keep up the great work, all my best to you and yours, Tom
I hope you find a million Karloff fans Tom It's a fine drawing, a great idea and I love the little medieval chess set back on the credenza. And so now there are 6 by Tom Heyburn in the Boris Karloff archive! I'm very impressed with all of them!
Thanx for your comments, only you would spot the chess set. Only six of mine,eh? Well John , it gets worse! I got another on the way and if it is accepted, I have managed to get my phisogue in there along with Sara!!!! Then I must really rest my ego for a while ( a long while)
I was real pleased that I knew a little about Sara Palin, but you are way ,way over my head with Kepp. Hey, John, I keep forgetting to say how impressed I am with your Beatles and of course, I love your Bob Mitchem. Why did I not think of him? To which you reply "You will, you will."
Thank you kindly. I ran across a nice picture of Mitchum while he was out on a date with Marilyn...but I just sketched it rather than trying to make a real drawing out of it...
p le n t y of room for improvement. (What's Kepp??)
Oh. Duh! My bad. They gave me some secretaries who were smarter than me so I never learned to type!
If anyone should Keep, keep, keep it up...that would be you! And yeah...draw us a Robert Mitchum Tom I wanna do another and get it right this time!
It's difficult to leave anything completely, John. By the bye, Bob Mitchum is now up and running. I put him on 'bout 3 mins ago and getting comments Some folks must spend a lot of time on here!!!!!
